While Aspyr – the team behind the port – has already told some fans that it is investigate “performance and low frame rates” in the Switch version, he has now shared a public post on his forum – acknowledging the “issues” with the Nintendo version and apologizing for any frustration caused. The goal now is to deliver a patch for “all platforms” by early May.

Videos on YouTube show that the frame rate of the Switch version can jump between 15 and 40 FPS. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Aspyr has encountered issues with its Star Wars ports. When Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy arrived on the Switch last April, gamers quickly identified a major cross-play loophole.
