Connection reHaunted (No Gravity Games, 13th May, £5.49 / €6.66) – “Hi, I hope this email finds you well. I’ve received the cd you had sent me and after a cursory glance at the files, I have to say the chances of recovering the software seem promising. There seems to be some data corruption but it’s quite possible it may still run. Now, again, I haven’t really dug too deep into it but it appears that it’s some sort of a simple game. I’ve seen plenty of things labelled as “map” so it probably has many levels. Pretty sure it involves some sort of a gun also? My guess is, it’s most likely one of those retro shooters. Anyway, gonna go take a nap. Couldn’t really get much sleep last night; had a lot of nightmares, can’t quite remember about what. I’ll keep you updated on my progress. Sincere regards, David.”

Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir & Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind (Nintendo, 14th May, £49.99 / €59.99) – Originally released for the Family Computer Disk System in Japan, the Famicom Detective Club series is finally available with English text for the first time. The graphics, music, and sound effects of the original game have been faithfully upgraded for the Nintendo Switch system. You can also choose the original 8-bit soundtrack. Plus, enjoy all-new voice acting in Japanese.
Fantasy Checkers (Prison Games, 10th May, £4.19 / €4.79) – Checkers – a traditional and inspiring board game known almost all over the world. The rules differs from one country to another, but the main goal is always the same- to capture all your opponent’s pieces.
Fire: Ungh’s Quest (Daedalic Entertainment, 12th May, £11.69 / €13.49) – FIRE is an exploration-adventure with intuitive puzzle design. Without losing many words it tells a savagely hilarious story. One returns back from Final Layer but claims to not remember what happened. Who do you trust? Who is telling the truth and who is lying? Who is friend and who is foe?
KASIORI (SUCCESS, 13th May, £6.26 / €7) – Girls battle with sweets – falling block puzzle with Single play, 1P versus & 2P versus mode. 3 sweets which are the same and connected will disappear, sweets in bottle are broken by other bottles falling on it. Total of 8 characters appear.
Preston Sterling and the Legend of Excalibur (Miracle Box Games, 13th May, £2.5 / €2.99) – Preston Sterling and the Legend of Excalibur is an adventure that will transport you into the world of English myths and legends. Tackle tricky puzzles and enjoy an exciting story, lovable characters and stunning scenes and locations! The game’s quick-to-learn controls and gradually increasing level of difficulty make the adventure easy to grasp, even for beginners. Retro Machina (Super.com, 12th May, £16.99 / €19.99) – Only one city remains on the planet, and it’s only robots who inhabit it now. Protected by a glass dome, Endeavor rises above the once lively area and worker robots are trying their best to keep it going. In order to maintain it, every robot has to do its job perfectly and any imperfections found are being discarded. Thrown to a junkyard for a malfunction, a single robot worker is on a quest to get itself fixed.
